Want to switch to the new "Timeline Style" Facebook now?

Facebook vs Google

So over night Facebook introduced the new "Timeline Style" layout. This announcement comes fresh on the back of the public launch of Google +1 and in my opinion the new Facebook announcement has now over-shadowed the Google announcement. The new Facebook layout see a shift in focus to a more "social" approach to social networking - as it should be.

Are you interested in switching to the new layout? Then follow these easy steps:

Open https://developers.facebook.com/apps and click on +Create New App
Add the App display name and namespace, this can be any piece of text. The name space needs to be unique.
On the next page, you will see the App ID and Secret and other details.
Click on Open Graph on the left sidebar of this page.
Simply define what your dummy app is capable of, like ‘People can watch a TV show’ and click Get Started.
In the next page, Action Types, scroll down and simply click Save Changes and Next
Next, Time Aggregrations, scroll down and click Save and Finish.
Now go back and open your profile and you'll have the option to switch to the new profile layout.
